How is it that your sister is in a relationship from hell, your bestie can’t seem to settle on one man, and yet people feel sorry for you being single? Doesn’t seem to make much sense. Especially if you are single and loving it.
This can be the most exciting time in your life. Whether newly divorced, recent break up or you just can’t seem to find that special someone. Being single gives you a lot of opportunities that normally wouldn’t be there.
Like… having male friends and not having to explain them or “what’s going on.” Or not having to share your razor in the shower. Hell, you don’t even have to shave as much! No stroking that male ego, among other things!
Being single is like winning the lottery to some people. You have the freedom to do what you want, when you want. No asking permission to have a girls night. No having the guys over for “a few beers” and then they never leave. Not to mention the burping and farting you’re missing out on. C’mon- what’s not enticing about that!
Don’t pay attention to people giving you grief. They probably aren’t happy anyway. There is nothing wrong with being single, especially if that’s how you choose to be. You can enjoy the many perks of many first dates and many free meals. At good places! Your bathroom can be clean, toilet seat down, and your washing machine isn’t a third dresser in your house!
So go ahead and buy that new pair of designer shoes- you have nobody to explain them to! And extend your much needed vacation. You may even meet a hot foreigner! For people thinking about the sexual aspect, buy a vibrator. They don’t talk back and you can turn them on and off when you want!
