Oh, the expensive wine and the designer shoes are a must! You simply have to order one of everything on the menu! Ok- stop right there. DIVA alert!
Do you insist on picking out your own gifts because you’re afraid you won’t like what he gets you? Do you have to put makeup on just to go to the gym? If you need a lot of money, affection and material goods to make you happy, you tend to be a perfectionist and maybe even a little self-centered, yes- you are high maintenance. Look out world. And look out men!
There are definitely pros and cons of bein vain. On one hand, you always look good. You are consdidered army candy, plain and simple. Men swarm to you and girls envy you. The downfall: You know you look good and make sure everybody else knows as well. You’ve never met a mirror you don’t like and you empty your wallet keeping up with the latest trends.
Good luck finding a man well suited to meet your needs because not a lot of them will put up with your princess behavior. Most men don’t like to be challenged on a daily basis and cringe at not being able to please your every demand. If you insist your man match you when it comes to looks and status or you turn your nose up at him in sweatpants, you need to loosen up. Not everybody has high standards and there’s nothing wrong with that.
Funny thing is, you tend to be prissy when it comes to killing a spider or opening the ketchup. You can’t mess up your newly manicured nails! You tend to hate loud parties, camping or anything outdoors because you’re too delicate. You’re always expecting more and everything is not enough. It takes a special kind of man to deal with your habits and expectations.
Don’t get me wrong. There’s nothing bad about wanting to look your best or dining at fancy restaurants. But your world shouldn’t revolve around it and you shouldn’t throw tantrums if you don’t get what you think you deserve. There are more important things in life than looks and money. Being happy is one of them.
If you can’t accept this, then be prepared to be disappointed in your date or ready to sleep alone, because the majority of men will just use you as a prop to better their image, bed you, then leave you. You’re like a sports car. You look good, make him look good, but for every hour of fun, there’s five more of upkeep and money behind the scenes.
